Date Set for Annual Lorne Pub to Pier to Pub

Black Ice swimming club will be holding its annual Lorne Winter swim on August the 24 th
I would also like to thank Cathy and Harry for once again hosting a fantastic night for our
Channel Aspirants Dan, Matt and the tractor Mike . There were 5 new inductees into our club
And the Secret Swim across the Bay movie was a big hit . Congratulations to
Dave Perkins in his sucsessful solo crossing of the Channel in a time just over 13 hours .
I would also like to give a special mention to John Jameson who swims out of the Vlad stable
From Sydney who crossed the Channel in over 18 hours . Don't forget Australia's longest swim
Race later this year from Frankston to Brighton  which will be held in late October or early November .  I have already received interest from overseas and although its a Black Ice event
Anybody can join in but must supply their own support crew etc ... The losing team must buy drinks
