The Hoff - Channel Swimmer

Congratulations to the Hoff who finally got to sign his name on
The walls of the White Horse Pub in Dover after
His successful swim across the English Channel.
Amazingly his time was the  same as yours truly in
14 hours and 45 mins . Credit to the Hoff who had to come
Back to Dover ( that's tough enough in itself ) and conquer his
Demons after his first attempt two years ago . Also I special mention
To Stuart Johnson from Sydney who made two and a half times across
The Chanel during the week . He also broke the Aussie record and
Did without any fanfare which is usually associated with this sport .
Good on you Stuart for your great effort and hopefully we can get you
On swimmers profile . Next Black Ice member to attempt is Dr Doug
Who will soon leave for his crack at a solo and Ash for her Relay attempt
And a special mention to our friends from Adelaide and Queensland Bruce
Another one to watch out for will
Be Irene Keel who at 73 years of age is off on her
Attempt shortly and we all wish her the best ,

Be circulated soon so miss this great event this weekend .
Hopefully after my short injury I will be back in the water
