On June the 26 th six Black Ice swimmers will attempt to swim from Pt Nepean to Pt Lonsdale
Hopefully the weather will be on our side for this swim but just in case we have the following day
Booked as a back up . This swim has been done many times but not in the winter and I can't wait .
The six swimmers are AV , the Hoff, the Tractor , Matt Harry ,Harry C and myself . There are 3 other
Swims planned by the Black Ice club and hopefully we will achieve these swims over the next 12 months . The swims are the Sydney triple thriller , escape from South Channel Island and the Ton to Ton swim that's FranksTON to BrighTON swim .
Just a recap on some of the Black Ice swims this year :- the Bloody Big Swim (special mention to Michelle ) the Rotto swim ( special mention to Sally ) and eight hour qualifying swim which we had
Nearly 30 swimmers ( another special mention to Michelle who turned up for a 2 hour swim but lasted 8.5 hours )
